Police are searching for a man who shot at a military vehicle
The Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Oblast has announced a search for a suspect in a high-profile incident that occurred on January 14 in the village of Rudno.
According to the investigation, an unknown man, while in a Volkswagen Passat, fired several shots from a traumatic weapon at a minibus of military personnel from the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.
Incident Details
The event occurred at 10:15 at the intersection of Lesi Ukrainky and Nebesnoi Sotni streets. The military personnel were carrying out notification measures when an unknown person fired shots and fled the scene.
Investigators have charged the suspect in absentia with a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article's sanction provides for imprisonment from three to seven years.
