Today, the session in the case of Ihor Kolomoisky did not take place again, as the businessman could not be delivered to the Podil District Court in Kyiv due to allegedly broken transport. Kolomoisky's lawyers noted that this is the second such incident in recent weeks, and in fact, their client has been unable to attend court sessions for four weeks.

The session, where Kolomoisky planned to make "loud statements" regarding corruption in Ukraine, has been rescheduled for December 11. One of the businessman’s lawyers, Oleg Pushkar, expressed confidence that such a situation was predictable, and the defenders did not expect Kolomoisky to be delivered to court.

Details of the case

The Kolomoisky case relates to financial losses incurred by "PrivatBank" and "Ukrnafta." Just two days ago, on November 14, Kolomoisky stated during a preliminary hearing that the allegations against a member of his team, Timur Mindich, are exaggerated, calling him a "scapegoat" in a broader scheme.

Kolomoisky has been under arrest since September 2, 2023, on suspicion of fraud and money laundering related to his business activities at "PrivatBank." The Security Service of Ukraine has already brought new charges, and the businessman faces lengthy imprisonment.

It should be noted that Kolomoisky had previously invited representatives of the media and the public to court sessions for a possible discussion of his position regarding the accusations; however, the delivery situation to the court creates significant delays in the process.
