The leader of the parliamentary faction "Batkivshchyna" Yulia Tymoshenko during a court hearing stated that the audio recording published by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) was artificially compiled by People's Deputy Ihor Kopytyn to avoid criminal liability.
According to the politician, anti-corruption authorities are deliberately manipulating fragments of her conversation with Kopytyn in order to discredit her political activities. "Kopytyn asked to meet with me, said he did not want to be in the majority... many times offered to cooperate," Tymoshenko said.
