President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to appoint Vladyslav Vlasyuk as the head of the Presidential Office, which he announced to journalists earlier.

According to sources, Vlasyuk has worked in the presidential team for a long time. In particular, since 2020, he has been an off-staff advisor to the Presidential Office, and since 2024, he has been the authorized representative for sanctions policy.

Vlasyuk's Biography and Experience

Vladyslav Vlasyuk has significant experience working in government structures. From 2017-2019, he headed the Human Rights Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, and in 2015-2016, he held leadership positions in the Patrol Police Department.

In addition, Vlasyuk is a candidate of legal sciences and taught at the Higher School of Advocacy of the National Association of Advocates of Ukraine.

Context of the Appointment

Recall that the previous head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Ermak, resigned after NABU and SAP searches on November 28. According to sources, Zelenskyy considered several candidates, including Denys Shmyhal, Mykhailo Fedorov, Kyrylo Budanov, and others.

Sources in the Presidential Office note that Vlasyuk is close to the former head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Ermak, and is considered his trusted person.
