President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held additional meetings on December 4 with candidates for the position of the new head of the President's Office. According to sources, one of the main contenders for this position is Mykhailo Fedorov, who currently serves as the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation.

In his video address, Zelensky confirmed that he will make a decision regarding the new head of the President's Office soon. "I have called a meeting for tomorrow, and among the issues will be a new distribution of personnel among the divisions so that the headquarters can feel more confident," the president noted.

If appointed, Fedorov will leave the position of Minister of Digital Transformation vacant. According to Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of parliament from the "Golos" faction, new details may be revealed as soon as today, December 5. At the same time, society is interested in how these personnel changes will affect the work of the Office and the reform of state institutions in Ukraine.

The resignation of Fedorov's predecessor, Andriy Ermak, was the result of searches conducted by NABU detectives and SAP prosecutors at his home on November 28. Ermak publicly stated his willingness to cooperate with the investigation, after which Zelensky announced his dismissal.

These events undoubtedly affect the political climate in Ukraine, and the selection of a new head of the President's Office could be an important step towards stabilizing the situation.
