The situation in the Myrnohrad area remains tense, but Ukrainian defenders continue to carry out their mission. According to the data from the "7th Army Corps of the Assault Forces" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our troops maneuvered to preserve personnel and transition to more advantageous positions.

In recent weeks, Ukrainian forces have abandoned some positions near Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk, particularly in the area of the villages of Sukhy Yar and Lysovka. This decision was made to avoid encirclement, as the enemy controls the territory with the help of drones and small infantry groups.

Frequent shelling

Military specialists have set out to support the defensive lines in the Pokrovsk direction. Despite excessive shelling with guided aerial bombs, only in recent days 21 guided aerial bombs have been dropped on the city. The occupiers are trying to strengthen their positions on the southeastern outskirts of Myrnohrad.

According to information from "UP," Ukrainian troops are actively fighting, destroying enemy assault groups; in the recent period, 17 Russian soldiers were eliminated, and one of them was captured while attempting to find food.

Strategic maneuver

The decision to retreat and move to new positions was made on the recommendation of commanders who sought to avoid encirclement of forces, keeping in mind that a larger part of the territory was already under enemy control.

Currently, the Ukrainian forces of the "7th Corps of the Assault Forces" are actively carrying out tasks, supporting designated lines. The command emphasized that the maneuver was conducted to improve logistics and avoid risks to personnel.

Myrnohrad continues to remain under threat, but our defenders are ready for any challenges and are working to maintain their positions.
