During the night of January 20, Russian occupiers launched a massive rocket attack on Ukrainian territory, using various types of weapons, including the anti-ship "Zircon" missile.

Missile Strike Details

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army carried out a powerful attack, during which:

  • Launched a Zircon missile from the temporarily occupied Crimea
  • Used 18 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles from Bryansk and Rostov regions
  • Attacked with 15 X-101 cruise missiles from the Vologda region
  • Deployed 339 strike drones of various types

Attack Results

Ukraine's air defense forces were able to destroy 342 targets, including:

  • 14 ballistic missiles
  • 13 cruise missiles
  • 315 drones of Shahed, "Gerber", and other types

Kyiv region was the main direction of the strike. 5 missiles and 24 strike drones were recorded hitting 11 locations.
