During the night of January 20, Russian occupiers launched a massive rocket attack on Ukrainian territory, using various types of weapons, including the hypersonic anti-ship missile "Zircon", launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Missile Strike Details
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army attacked Ukraine simultaneously with several types of missiles and drones:
- 1 "Zircon" missile from Crimea
- 18 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles from Bryansk and Rostov regions
- 15 X-101 cruise missiles from the Vologda region
- 339 attack drones of various types
Attack Results
Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 342 targets, including: • 14 ballistic missiles • 13 cruise missiles • 315 drones
As a result of the attack, 5 missiles and 24 attack drones hit 11 locations. The Kyiv region was the main direction of the strike.
