Russian troops struck the dam of the Pechenizke Reservoir, located in the Kharkiv region, which led to the suspension of traffic on the dam. This was reported by the head of the Pechenizke rural military administration, Oleksandr Husarov.
Currently, according to Husarov, as of 12:00 on December 7, traffic on the roadway of the dam has been halted. Details regarding the condition of the structure will be provided later.
The attack on the Pechenizke Reservoir is not an isolated incident. In 2022, Russian forces already shelled this dam, damaging its upper gate, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the enemy attempted to completely destroy it, but were unsuccessful.
