The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) with the support of the Security Service of Ukraine have uncovered a criminal group led by Member of Parliament Hanna Skorokhod. It is reported that she is suspected of receiving a bribe of 250,000 US dollars.

As of today, searches are taking place in the lawmaker's residence. In her statement on Facebook, Skorokhod confirmed that the investigative actions are ongoing and called it "direct pressure" on the opposition.

"I have nothing to hide; my activities are transparent. However, the timing and context of these events suggest clear conclusions: I see this as direct pressure on the opposition and an attempt to block my political activities due to my principled stance," Hanna Skorokhod wrote.

According to sources, the searches are part of an investigation into corrupt activities related to extorting a large bribe from a businessman. Law enforcement confirmed that priority investigative actions are underway.

Hanna Skorokhod is a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, elected in 2019 from the 93rd electoral district (Kyiv region). Initially, she was a member of the "Servant of the People" faction but was expelled in 2019 following a conflict with the leadership. She currently represents the "For the Future" group, associated with oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.

Skorokhod has repeatedly criticized the government’s actions, leading to scandals and emotionally charged public statements. Now, the searches and accusations of bribery only add new chapters to her political career.
