Employee of Burshtyn TPP, veteran Roman Syoma, received a high award from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. He was honored for his personal effective participation in the restoration of power lines that were damaged during missile attacks.
Roman Syoma, who has over 23 years of experience at Burshtyn TPP, joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops. During his service, he proved to be a reliable professional and leader. He is appreciated for his deep knowledge and ability to work in a team, especially in critical conditions.
The Director of “DTEK Burshtyn TPP” emphasized that Roman Syoma is an example of dedication to his work and is always ready to help, even in the most difficult situations. “I am proud to work in such a team, and I am very grateful for the support,” noted Roman.
In addition to the III degree award from the National Security and Defense Council, Roman also received the “Silver Cross” from former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi. This award became a sign of recognition for his efforts in restoring the infrastructure of Ukraine's energy system, which is especially important in the current challenging situation.
Drawing on his extensive experience, Roman continues to work on improving energy systems and is a true hero both on the front lines and in the energy sector.
