Another Conflict with Moderation
Well-known political streamer Hasan Piker once again faced a temporary ban on the Twitch platform due to controversial comments. The incident occurred on January 29, 2026, around 7:00 PM Pacific Time, when the streamer was discussing the murder of Alex Preti.
According to sources, the reason for the blocking was a comment using the term "Zionist," which is considered prohibited under the platform's rules. Piker himself commented on the situation on social network X (formerly Twitter), pointing out the bias of moderation.
Streamer's Action Plan
Despite the temporary blocking on Twitch, Hasan Piker announced the continuation of streaming on YouTube. He plans to cover a public demonstration related to immigration policy and invite local politician Ray Huang.
This is already the seventh ban in the streamer's career. Previous blockings mostly lasted from 24 hours to a week. Currently, Piker's channel remains unavailable, but he remains optimistic about returning.
