The Kremlin's special representative Kirill Dmitriev, after the completion of three-day negotiations between the delegations of the USA, Ukraine, and Russia in Miami, announced that the next meeting will be held in Moscow. This information was shared by the diplomat via the social network X, thanking Miami for its hospitality. According to Russian media, Dmitriev has already left the USA.
During the negotiations, the main focus was on four key documents. The special envoy of the USA, Steve Witkoff, called the meetings "constructive and productive." According to Witkoff, efforts from both sides were aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
At the same time, Donald Trump's advisor Jared Kushner participated in the negotiations, who, according to experts, complements Witkoff's style and is capable of overcoming differences. Some consider Kushner to be a more authoritative negotiator than Witkoff, especially due to the perception of the latter as "overly accommodating to Russian interests."
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expecting details of the negotiations with the American side. As he noted during an event on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Service Workers in Kyiv, the Ukrainian delegation returns home with the first results of a plan containing 20 points.
These negotiations took place in the context of general global efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine, despite the uncertainty on the part of Russia and doubts about its intent to cease military actions soon.
