Today we learn more about the wife of Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, who continues to fight for Ukraine's security, notably overseeing the defense of Kharkiv region. Mykhailo Drapaty, a prominent commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is celebrating his birthday during a challenging time for the country.
The important role of Yuliia Drapata
Yuliia Drapata, Mykhailo's wife, is on the front line of his emotional support. They are married and raise two children: son Ivan and daughter Hanna. Their family has become an example of resilience, not only due to his military service but also because of her own achievements.
Yuliia works as a teacher at the "Bila Tserkva Art School No. 5 named after Serhii Tomashchuk." Her professional activities are closely intertwined with her passions – she is an active participant in the bandura ensemble of teachers "Oleksandria," where she often performs on stage.
Memories and worries
Yuliia first appeared on screen in 2014 when her husband, commanding the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, led his units out of encirclement during active hostilities in eastern Ukraine. She admitted that she was very anxious about her husband when he was under fire.
Now, as Mykhailo once again heads important defense operations for the country, family support remains his reliable anchor. Together, they continue to demonstrate how a strong family can withstand the challenges and hardships of the times.
Call to the community
On the eve of Mykhailo Drapaty's birthday, we urge all Ukrainians to remember and support the families of military personnel who selflessly serve Ukraine. Their support is extremely important in these difficult wartime circumstances.
