Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, made an official visit to Turkey, where he held important meetings with key Turkish officials.
During his stay in Ankara, Umerov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalın. The parties discussed security issues, current negotiation processes, and coordination of actions in detail.

"As always, special attention was paid to the humanitarian direction and the issues of returning our people," Umerov emphasized in his comment.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the importance of this direction, noting that Ukraine is trying to resume active prisoner exchanges.

In the near future, a meeting of national security advisors from more than ten countries is expected, including representatives from NATO, the European Commission, and the European Council.
