Ukraine finally has its own "long arm" in the form of the Sapsan missile system. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine pointed out the significance of this achievement, noting that the missile is capable of reaching targets where the Russian military's air defense equipment is concentrated.

Experts, such as military analyst Konstantin Kryvolap, believe that the “Sapsan” is a powerful tool that can significantly enhance Ukraine's defense capability. "The main value of the "Sapsan" is its range and power. About 80% of Russia's military-industrial complex is concentrated in the Moscow region and neighboring areas, so its production could create serious problems for the Russian Federation," Kryvolap explained during an interview.

Challenges of Implementation and Production

However, experts urge caution regarding expectations. War veteran Yevhen Dykyi notes that despite the progress, the full-fledged combat use of the “Sapsan” may not begin before 2026. "This is a technologically complex product, and its development may be prolonged," he added.

It is also worth noting that Ukraine is already actively working on the implementation of other types of weapons, including drones. According to Dykyi, Ukraine is currently producing about 200 unmanned aerial vehicles per day, which significantly enhances the military capabilities of the country.

Future Forecasts

In the context of all these efforts, analysts believe that the “Sapsan” could become an important element of Ukraine's strategy in the war with Russia; however, its successful implementation requires time and resources. Given the current situation, the prospects for the production and use of this missile seem promising, but the rollout of the technology requires further development.

Thus, Ukraine's successes in developing missile weapons indicate a serious inclination towards increasing its defense capability in the face of modern military challenges.
