Deputy Director of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Andriy Melnyk declared ownership of 5 tons of gold bars located in Moscow, with a total value of almost 80 million euros.
According to the electronic declaration for 2024, the gold is in the form of 999.9 European standard bank bars, with a total weight of 160,753.61 troy ounces. The storage location is ZAT "KITON 21 CENTURY" on Yasseneva Street in Moscow.
Additional Assets of the Official
In addition to gold, Melnyk owns:
- Commodity-related securities worth 3.9 billion hryvnias
- 15 rare earth metal deposits, including those in the occupied territory of Luhansk region
- 29 unfinished real estate properties in Odesa region
The official's annual salary in 2024 was 1,030,834 hryvnias. He also keeps 130,000 dollars and 120,000 euros in cash.
Previously, NACP discovered violations in Melnyk's declaration amounting to 2.42 million hryvnias.
