Key Changes in the Ukrainian Government

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, reported receiving resignation statements from two high-ranking officials - Defense Minister Denys Shmygal and Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to Stefanchuk, the parliament will review the resignation statements in the near future in accordance with the established procedure. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already proposed new positions for both ministers.

Presidential Plans

Zelenskyy plans to appoint Denys Shmygal as Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Energy, and Mykhailo Fedorov as the new Minister of Defense. The President especially emphasized the need for technological advancement in the defense sector and the importance of implementing innovative solutions.

In particular, Zelenskyy highlighted achievements in the production of interceptor drones, where Ukraine is already reaching a level of over 1000 devices per day.
