This morning in Lutsk, during an air raid alert, powerful explosions occurred. Mayor Ihor Polishchuk confirmed that the city was subjected to a drone attack, resulting in a fire at food storage facilities.
According to the mayor, the fire destroyed property, decorations, and products over an area of approximately 3,800 m². Rescuers are currently working at the scene to extinguish the fire. Preliminary information suggests that there are no casualties or injuries.
Details of the attack
According to monitoring channels, at 06:27 in Lutsk, sirens sounded, and three drones were tracked from different directions. Ihor Polishchuk noted that air defense systems are operational and, although some drones were destroyed, there were instances of hits on civilian objects.
The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Ivan Rudnytskyi, added that 22 drones were detected in the airspace of the region, of which 11 were destroyed. Fires were registered in both storage buildings and residential houses.

All relevant services are working at the site. More than fifty rescuers are engaged in extinguishing the fire. The State Emergency Service (SES) confirmed that a fire broke out at a food storage facility due to enemy shelling, but there is no information about casualties.
