The company Philips Monitors announced the release of the new 27-inch Philips Evnia 27M2N6501L monitor, equipped with a QD-OLED panel. This model is aimed at gamers, multimedia tasks, and content creation, but is positioned as a more affordable option in the QD-OLED category.

What is known about the new product

The Evnia 27M2N6501L is equipped with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED matrix with a QHD (2560×1440) resolution. This type of display combines the advantages of OLED and quantum dot technology: deep black color, high contrast, and wide viewing angles.

The monitor supports a refresh rate of 240 Hz, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming, and is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync. Among additional features for gamers are Smart Crosshair, Stark ShadowBoost, and Smart Sniper, which enhance visibility and targeting during fast scenes.

The model also features an Ambiglow mode that creates ambient lighting around the screen. In this version, the backlighting algorithms are enhanced with artificial intelligence elements that analyze the on-screen image and adjust the colors according to the content.

Image and capabilities

The Evnia 27M2N6501L supports 10-bit color depth (1.07 billion shades) and HDR, allowing the monitor to be used not only for gaming but also for video watching or working with complex graphics.

For connectivity, it features HDMI 2.1, making this model compatible with current consoles and PCs. Additionally, the monitor supports MultiView — simultaneous output from two sources — and can receive software updates via USB.

The manufacturer particularly emphasizes eye protection features: LowBlue, Flicker-Free, and an ergonomic adjustable stand.

All Philips OLED and QD-OLED panels come with a three-year warranty, which includes protection against burn-in.
