This is all about the new model from the popular Ukrainian brand REAL-EL. In this review, we share our impressions of the device. Is it worth recommending this novelty?

Packaging and Complete Set
The box for the REAL-EL X-760 looks similar to the packaging of the flagship model REAL-EL X-797, which I described earlier. Yes, different sizes, technical specifications, and features, but the general style remains recognizable. REAL-EL products are hard to confuse with competitors — individuality is truly important here.

Inside the box is the audio system REAL-EL X-760 itself. Besides it, there is a signal cable, a USB-A/USB-C charging cable, and the necessary warranty and user documentation. It should be noted that sturdy cardboard spacers are used to protect the speaker during transportation.
Appearance, Body Materials, and Build Quality
The REAL-EL X-760 looks as if it invites you to take it anywhere. It is quite compact, has a comfortable carrying handle, and an eye-catching appearance. If you think that 16 hours of autonomy is not enough, perhaps you are mistaken. Autonomy and RGB backlighting are just part of the advantages of this model. It is also light enough and comfortably fits in a teenager's hand, while the power of 65 W and the karaoke feature make it a favorable choice.
The case is made of high-quality plastic, affirming its quality during use. Due to careful processing, no scratches remain on the surface even after frequent transportation. Time will tell whether the case will withstand the load over time, but so far, the material does not raise doubts about its quality.
On the front, the system has a sturdy metal grille protecting the speakers, as well as a diode layer.
The buttons on the top panel are rubber, and there is a rubber cover for the ports and interfaces, which we will discuss later.
Plastic feet with good rubber pads absorb vibrations during the audio system's operation.
As for the build quality, we found no complaints, not even the slightest. While inspecting the REAL-EL X-760, I even felt sorry that this audio device is not all-encompassing — its assembly is simply impressive!
Controls — Impressions of Ergonomics
The package does not include a remote control. At first, this may seem like a drawback, but after just a few hours of use, you will understand that the REAL-EL X-760 is not background sound, but the main character of the evening. Therefore, a remote is unnecessary; control is done via convenient buttons on the top panel.
Briefly about the ports and interfaces: the layout formats are indeed well thought out, ensuring ease of use. Among the ports are a charging socket, a microSD slot, a USB port, a microphone jack, and AUX for connecting external sound sources. Also, the REAL-EL X-760 features karaoke functionality.
Among the buttons are the power on/off switch, sound source selection, BASS button, a separate TWS button, and playback controls. You can also control it by touch, without any problems.
Interestingly, there are recesses between the buttons where you can place a 7-inch tablet or phone for convenient music playback, which will enhance the light show effect.
On the back, there is a sticker with various technical specifications.

Autonomy Test
Now about the 16 hours of autonomy. It sounds impressive, doesn't it? But since the manufacturer does not specify the testing conditions, I decided to conduct my tests. The first test: no backlighting and at 80% volume — as a result, the operating time was just under 15 hours. The second test: backlighting on and volume at 70% — approximately 14 hours. Considering that manufacturers usually test autonomy at 75%, the results can be considered quite comparable to the official ones.
Sound Quality
The sound is impressive. I truly enjoyed everything: from powerful and palpable bass to other well-heard frequencies. The REAL-EL X-760 is the true musical soul of the company, not just background sound. I recommend giving it a try — you will probably want to connect this model in a TWS pair.
RGB and Other Features
The backlighting is activated, switched, and turned off by pressing one button with a sun icon.
The logic of the backlighting operation may be a bit unclear, as different scenarios are possible in one mode, depending on the sound and volume. However, mastering the functionality will yield optimal results. If desired, the RGB lighting can be turned off, but during the testing, I had no desire to do so, as I enjoy the light music.
Regarding other features of the REAL-EL X-760: TWS support allows you to connect two X-760 units into one system with double power. You can also play audio from external media — microSD cards or USB receivers, connect to a sound source via AUX, or use the system for karaoke!
Final Thoughts
After familiarizing ourselves with the REAL-EL X-760, we can recommend this system to those who lead an active lifestyle. Although the case does not have protection against natural elements, its compactness, power, RGB, high build quality, and functionality make this model an attractive choice for the modern user.
