Model Design, Materials Used, and Build Quality Impression
REAL-EL RM-380W is a successfully modernized classic version. Firstly, it is worth noting the excellent combination of dark shades. In fact, there are two shades of black here: a soft touch black on top and stylish glossy accents on the sides. It looks attractive and stylish, suitable for the office. I can also recommend it as a great gift for teenagers – even for a small hand at age 7, this mouse turned out to be comfortable.
The wheel on top is metallic, and its operation raises no questions – everything is done very conveniently. It is also worth noting the texture of its surface, which provides comfort and precision due to a good grip.
All materials, except for the Teflon on the bottom, are made of plastic. This explains the light weight of the product – only 90 grams. The material is light, practical, and reliable, as well as resistant to external influences. For two weeks, the REAL-EL RM-380W has held up perfectly against a large amount of equipment on my desk, leaving no marks.
The quality of assembly of this mouse is indeed at a high level. No complaints from my side; it is really well made, and the materials look reliable.
Ergonomics – Key Points
Regarding control, the first thing I must emphasize is that the REAL-EL RM-380W provides silent operation of all buttons, which truly pleased me.
Next – very convenient use of the scroll wheel; this is one of the best solutions on the market for inexpensive office mice.
The shape of the manipulator is comfortable even for a child's hand.
On the top panel, there are the right and left click buttons, the scroll wheel, and the DPI button.
The left side contains forward/back buttons as well as a separate quick access button to the desktop.
Along the edge of the bottom panel are Teflon feet that improve mouse glide and the ability for precise cursor positioning. There is also an optical sensor port, a power switch, a place for a micro receiver, and a small sticker with product information.
Connection and Setup
Connecting the REAL-EL RM-380W to a computer or laptop poses no difficulties – just two steps: connect the receiver to the port and activate the power. The mouse starts working in seconds, even when connecting to a new device.

In my opinion, battery life is one of the strong points of this model. It is equipped with a 500 mAh battery, and from the tests performed, I never had to recharge it, even during 6 hours of work. It is worth noting that we are not talking about maximum capabilities.
Regarding the recharging process, it should be noted that it supports pass-through charging, which allows you to continue working with the REAL-EL RM-380W while the battery is charging. This is very convenient.
