The sim racing solutions market has been enriched with two new products from GamePro — the RS400 cockpit and the RW070 steering set. Both products cannot be classified as premium or explicitly budget solutions; they are optimal options with an excellent price-quality ratio for those looking to obtain realistic experiences at a reasonable price.
Both models are equipped with comfortable ergonomics, universal compatibility, and sufficient tactile feedback, making them a great choice for diving into the racing world without significant expenses and complicated mounting systems.

Design and ergonomics of the GamePro RS400 cockpit
The RS400 cockpit is sold in disassembled form in standard packaging, and the assembly takes about twenty minutes. The platform has a metal frame and a textile seat, which is secured to the frame with reinforced straps. This is an unusual solution for this brand: most cockpits use more massive chairs similar to computer ones. Here the manufacturer decided to apply a minimalist approach, which allowed for weight reduction and lower equipment costs.

Initial skepticism about the fabric seat quickly fades after a few hours of gameplay. The seating is quite comfortable, the material withstands load, and the construction demonstrates the necessary rigidity. The total weight of the system is about ten kilograms, making the RS400 convenient for users who do not have a separate gaming room. The cockpit can be compactly folded and easily stored in a closet or on a shelf next to the desk — in this aspect, the solution is more practical than classic stationary models.

The textile cover provides good air circulation, which is noticeable in summer: long gaming sessions become more comfortable compared to chairs made of eco-leather. Thus, the material is easy to clean, and its durability is sufficient for intensive use. According to the manufacturer, the maximum recommended weight is 120 kg — a figure typical for more expensive cockpits.
As for compatibility, the RS400 has a virtually universal design. The central panel features numerous mounts for attaching steering blocks from various brands. The GamePro RW070 set was used in testing, but the design is also suitable for hardware solutions from Logitech, MOZA, Simagic, and other popular manufacturers.

Adjustment is not too extensive but covers all main elements. The pedal platform moves horizontally, allowing you to set the optimal distance. The angle can be set in two variants — 15 or 27 degrees, which is quite sufficient for adjusting to different height parameters. The steering platform is also adjustable, allowing the user to find the most natural position. The overall seating angle resembles not a classic passenger car but rather a racing car, where the driver is seated in a semi-reclined position.

GamePro RW070: steering wheel, pedals, and gear shifter
The GamePro RW070 set creates the impression that you are in front of not just a gaming accessory, but a simplified version of a real car steering wheel. Its diameter is 270 mm. The surface is made of a pleasant rubberized material that provides excellent grip during active use. All necessary buttons are placed on the steering wheel, which can be reconfigured according to your preferences.

The feedback system deserves special attention. Inside the structure, two vibration motors with a total power of 48 W are installed. During operation, they create a noticeable torque and realistic vibrations that effectively convey road conditions, bumps, and vibrations during turns. Unlike basic models, here the effect feels genuine — haptic feedback really enhances the sense of control in a virtual car. The total rotation angle is 1080°, corresponding to three full turns from stop to stop, just like in real vehicles.

The pedal block consists of three metal pedals — gas, brake, and clutch. Thanks to the textured bottom surface, it stays securely in place even without additional mounting when used on the cockpit. The gear shifter has six forward speeds and a mechanical scheme for engaging reverse: to activate it, the lever must first be pressed down, then moved to the right and down. This solution imitates real car gearboxes and provides realistic tactile sensations.
The set's compatibility is quite extensive: GamePro RW070 supports PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation consoles. Connection is made via a separate power block and USB cable. The system is automatically recognized by the computer without the need for driver installation. However, there may be some nuances with older games. For instance, Forza Horizon 5 correctly recognized the accessory, while the previous fourth part did not. If necessary, third-party adjustment tools can be used, although the issue was resolved during testing by updating to the latest game version.

For detailed tuning, the Racing Wheel app is used. It connects to the steering wheel via Bluetooth; however, simultaneously the steering block must be connected to the PC via USB. The app allows you to reconfigure buttons, adjust vibration feedback intensity, and provides ready-made presets for popular racing simulators adapted for the RW070.

The cost of the set at the time of the review was 9000 UAH, which is a competitive offer in the segment of modern sim racing solutions with such capabilities.

User experience and practical impressions
The GamePro RS400 cockpit and RW070 steering wheel create an impression of a balanced system for amateurs in sim racing. The cockpit does not strive for premium rigidity but offers a comfortable seating position and sufficient stability. The set with the wheel and pedals provides realistic feedback like that found in professional sim racing complexes.

Particularly highlighted is the ease of installation and storage. The user does not need to allocate a separate space in their apartment or workshop — the structure can be quickly folded, hidden away, and laid out before a session. This makes the system especially convenient for teenagers, students, and those living in small apartments.

Conclusions
Both new products are a great starting point for those wishing to transition from a regular keyboard or desktop steering wheel to a more realistic sim racing experience. The RS400 provides a comfortable seating position, stability, and high mobility of the construction, while the RW070 offers a realistic tactile experience, bringing the gameplay closer to that of driving a real car.
This solution is suitable for enthusiasts looking to try sim racing at home without significant financial investments while still obtaining a notably better experience than in the traditional desktop format. The accessories can also be used with other cockpits, so even when upgrading their setup, their relevance does not diminish.
