Ukraine plans to receive additional Mirage 2000-5 aircraft from France, as well as missiles for various weapon systems.
Source: Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported this on his social media after negotiations with his French counterpart Catherine Vautrin, as noted by "European Truth".
Details: Fedorov emphasized that one of the topics of discussion was additional Mirage aircraft for Ukraine.
"We expect new deliveries of aircraft, which will significantly strengthen our air capabilities," he noted, without going into details.
In addition, he added that Ukraine hopes to receive interceptor missiles from France for the SAMP/T and Crotale air defense systems, as well as long-range weapons.
"I am grateful for the readiness to provide additional French-made missiles in the near future," Fedorov emphasized.
Furthermore, the minister thanked France for its decisive stance in the fight against Russia's "shadow fleet."
"I expressed gratitude for the long-term and consistent cooperation, as well as for France's significant contribution to the development of our air defense and aviation capabilities. This partnership is already contributing to the protection of Ukrainian airspace," he added.
Recall that in October, French President Emmanuel Macron promised to increase the supply of Mirage aircraft for Ukraine. At that time, Ukraine had already received three of the six promised aircraft, one of which was lost. The first aircraft arrived in Ukraine almost a year ago, in February 2025.
In November, Ukraine and France signed an agreement to procure up to 100 Rafale fighters, as well as air defense systems and drones of French production.
