The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was urgently hospitalized to the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Presidential Administration Management on the night of December 25, during his stay in Moscow.
Unexpected Hospitalization
According to "New Newspaper Europe", Kadyrov arrived in Moscow on December 24 to participate in the traditional pre-New Year meeting of the State Council chaired by Vladimir Putin. However, his health condition suddenly worsened, which led to him being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Health Problems
A source in the Chechen leader's entourage reported that "in Moscow, he was barely brought back to consciousness, after which he returned home". Since then, Kadyrov has not appeared in public.
Earlier, Kadyrov himself acknowledged health problems, talking about "nervous disorders" and constant feelings of tension, which he associates with worries about Chechen fighters at the front.
Future Prospects
Despite his critical health condition, the Russian Presidential Administration has approved Kadyrov's candidacy for the upcoming Chechen leadership elections in 2026.
