On New Year's Eve, a tragic incident occurred in the village of Khorly, Kherson region, which resulted in 24 deaths, according to local occupation authorities.
Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-appointed "governor" of Kherson region, reported a large-scale attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a cafe and hotel in the village of Khorly. According to him, three drones struck almost at midnight, killing 24 people, including a child.
Saldo claims that one of the drones was armed with an incendiary mixture, causing a powerful fire. He reports that 50 more people were injured, including four children.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has already initiated a criminal case under the terrorism article. Meanwhile, official Kyiv has not yet commented on these accusations, and independent sources have not confirmed this information.
It should be noted that this occurred against the backdrop of large-scale shelling of various Ukrainian regions by Russian drones on New Year's Eve. According to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia launched 205 attack drones of various types.
