Details of the Accident Involving Adam Kadyrov's Motorcade
On Friday in Grozny, a major traffic incident occurred involving the motorcade of 18-year-old Adam Kadyrov, son of the Chechen leader. According to preliminary information, the vehicle led by the official's son ignored a red traffic light at high speed and collided with another vehicle.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the other car was killed. Adam Kadyrov himself and three of his bodyguards were hospitalized with various injuries. In particular, head of security Apti Iraskhnov suffered a cervical spine fracture.
Emergency Evacuation
Chechen authorities decided to immediately evacuate Adam Kadyrov to Moscow by a special medical emergency aircraft. Despite minor injuries, the son of the Chechen leader was urgently transported for additional examination.
Controversial Circumstances
Law enforcement sources reported that the traffic accident would not be officially registered and no investigation would be conducted. This is another case where children of the Chechen elite avoid responsibility for traffic accidents.
Previously, Adam's brother, 16-year-old Akhmat Kadyrov, was also involved in high-profile accidents in which people died.
