Renowned director James Cameron revealed an unexpected plan of action regarding future installments of the Avatar franchise in case he cannot complete the full cycle of planned films.
In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Cameron stated that if he cannot shoot the fourth and fifth parts of the saga, he will personally hold a press conference to tell viewers about the details of the unrealized plot.
Future Plans
Despite the success of the third film "Avatar: Fire and Ash", which has already collected over $483.3 million worldwide, the director is not certain about the continuation of the franchise.
"I don't know if the saga will continue after this. I hope it will," Cameron noted. According to him, each time it is necessary to prove the commercial feasibility of the project.
Alternative Plan
As an additional option, Cameron is considering writing a book with details of unrealized scripts. "Our characters have a huge cultural layer and background," the director emphasized.
Currently, the film "Avatar: Fire and Ash" is being shown in theaters and continues to captivate viewers with the story of the Sully family on the distant planet Pandora.
