The situation in the Myrnohrad area remains complex. According to information received from the military, the city has been completely surrounded by Russian troops since November 29, 2025. Defenders from the "38th Marine Brigade" report ongoing attempts by Ukrainian forces to break the siege of the garrison.
"On Saturday, our troops tried to enter the city, but hit a mine. Others, trying to leave the city, came under fire again and returned back," noted one of the servicemen.
Active Actions to Break the Siege
According to a military officer, the mission is aimed at establishing real control over key settlements such as "Rodynske" and "Krasnyi Lyman" to ensure logistics for the defense of Myrnohrad. Over the past week, Ukrainian forces have conducted several personnel rotations to support the defense.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that in recent days the enemy has intensified its assault actions, attempting to push Ukrainian forces from their positions in the areas of Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, and neighboring settlements. However, the defense forces have already repelled 17 attacks from the aggressor.
Propaganda and Manipulations
Moreover, the "7th Corps of Air Assault Forces" reported that declarations of the capture of Pokrovsk are manipulations of enemy propaganda. They confirm that the enemy is bogged down in urban battles and cannot achieve its objectives due to the efforts of Ukrainian defenders, who are actively repelling attacks.
A major from the General Staff emphasized the complexity of the situation, but stressed that the defenders continue to carry out their tasks, maintaining control over the northern part of Myrnohrad.
