In the Volyn region, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged due to an attack by Russian "Shahed" strike drones. This was reported by the acting head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Roman Romanenko.
According to information, the attack occurred on February 6 in the evening. The situation in the area was under control, and relevant services are working at the site to eliminate the consequences of the strike. Preliminary data indicates that there were no injured or deceased.
The Air Force Command reports that Russians are massively attacking Ukraine with drones from various directions. The situation in the Volyn region is dangerous: several alarm alerts are announced in each district throughout the day due to enemy UAVs.
Romanenko urged the population not to publish or disseminate photos and videos of the aftermath of attacks on social media. It should be noted that on New Year's Eve, military drones also struck critical infrastructure in the region, resulting in 103,000 consumers losing electricity.
The situation at the front remains tense as the large-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1,445 days. Current attacks can be tracked via an interactive map of hostilities and an air alert map.
