Clashes occurred on the territory of the "Zhovten" sanatorium in Koncha-Zaspa between representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and servicemen of military unit A4005. The conflict arose over a dispute regarding the right to use this facility, during which weapons were used.
According to informed sources, on the evening of December 3, representatives of the GUR entered the territory of the sanatorium, breaking down the gates and damaging the fence. They fired both into the air and at the ground, and also captured 10 servicemen from military unit A4005, inflicting significant injuries on them.
Representatives of the GUR stated that the military had illegally settled on the territory of the "Zhovten" sanatorium and intended to reclaim the facility. After seizing the area, GUR fighters contacted the police, the Military Law Enforcement Service (VSP), and the State Bureau of Investigations (DBR), but representatives from the latter were unable to arrive. According to one source, the VSP confirmed that both sides have rental rights to this territory.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Oleksandr Syrskiy, arrived at the scene, indicating the seriousness of the situation. Meanwhile, GUR representatives assert that they are on the territory on legal grounds according to an agreement with the owner, which was made under the legislative norms of martial law.
Additional information: The "Zhovten" sanatorium has been the subject of legal disputes in the past. In 2020, a court arrested it, and in 2022 the DBR announced the return of the facility to state ownership. It is now managed by the Agency for Search and Asset Management.
It is worth reminding that the conflict between security forces and military units is not a new phenomenon in Ukraine, especially in the context of war, when property and territorial rights often become causes of tension and confrontations.
