As a result of the Russian shelling that occurred the day before, the international checkpoint "Orlivka," located on the border of Ukraine and Romania, has temporarily suspended its operations. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

According to information from "European Truth," the shelling took place on the night of November 22, 2025. As a result of the attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the infrastructure of the "Orlivka" ferry complex was damaged, leading to the necessity of suspending all crossing operations.

Measures Taken and Recommendations

Official representatives assured that all necessary measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. Travelers are advised to use other nearby checkpoints until the situation improves.

The "Orlivka" checkpoint is located at the ferry crossing on the Danube, linking the village of "Orlivka" with the cities of Reni and Izmail. In recent weeks, the checkpoint has also faced difficulties due to technical failures in the operation of customs databases, which were resolved on the same day.

This situation is part of a broader context of escalating tensions in regions bordering Romania and Moldova, where drone attacks targeting humanitarian and economic objectives have been recently recorded.
