The United States Embassy in Ukraine has issued an urgent warning about a possible large-scale air attack in the coming days. The official US representation has called on citizens to be prepared to immediately seek shelter in case of an air raid alarm.

On the evening of January 8, the diplomatic mission reported a "potentially significant" air threat that could be realized at any moment in the near future. It is important to note that the message does not directly indicate the involvement of the Russian Federation in the possible attack.
Government Reaction
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the high probability of a new massive Russian strike. According to him, the Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions are particularly dangerous, where there have already been attacks on critical infrastructure.
"It is very important to pay attention to air raid alerts today, tomorrow, and constantly go down to shelters," Zelenskyy emphasized.

Earlier, the presidential administration was negotiating with American and European teams regarding documents on security and Ukraine's restoration. The head of state reported that a security guarantee agreement with the United States is almost ready to be signed at the highest level.
