Return of the Legendary Show: Charitable Special Edition of "Dancing with the Stars"
In the pre-New Year's charitable edition of "Dancing with the Stars" after a four-year break, an incredible event took place — veteran Rusya Danilkina took the dance floor, proving that a prosthetic is not a sentence, but merely a challenge.
Heroine's Story
Rusya was only 18 years old when she stood up to defend Ukraine. The girl worked as a communications operator. After 10 months of service, she was caught in a shelling in Kherson, as a result of which she lost part of her leg. However, this did not break her spirit.
Dance as a Mission
On the dance floor of "Dancing with the Stars", Rusya performed with her partner Pavlo Simakyn, demonstrating a passionate rumba. The main goal of her participation was a charitable fundraiser for targeted evacuation of wounded soldiers.
"Rusya, you are an example of the unbreakable spirit of Ukraine," — Kateryna Kukhar commented.
About the Project
The special edition united efforts with the Superhumans center, aimed at reducing the evacuation time for the wounded. Thanks to the project, they manage to transport the injured within 15-17 hours, which often saves lives and limbs.
Viewers can join the charity and vote for their favorite couples until December 29.
