Forecasters predict that it will be noticeably colder in Ukraine today. The air temperature will drop to +1°...+5°, and in the northeastern part of the country, thermometers may even drop to a slight minus.
Weather forecast for December 13
According to data from "UNIAN Weather," in the western regions, temperatures will remain somewhat higher — +3°...+5°. Meanwhile, in northern Ukraine, temperatures will fall to -4°...+1°, while central regions are expected to see -1°...+1°.
In the east of the country, forecasters predict temperatures from -4° to 0°, without precipitation, cloudy with clearings. In the south, temperatures will range from +3° to +5°, with local fluctuations down to +1° in some places, particularly in Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
Deterioration of weather conditions
According to forecaster Vitalii Postryhany, the nighttime drop in temperature from 6-8° warmth to 1-3° frost is just the beginning. The next day, December 14, further deterioration of weather conditions is expected, and a compact cyclone from Scandinavia will arrive in Ukraine.
"Only at the beginning of the week, after December 16, can we expect a warming," noted Postryhany.
Winter's advance
This cooling marks a significant change in weather conditions, and even now, according to popular signs, if it snows before December 13, a mild and relatively warm winter is expected.
Additionally, it is worth being prepared for icy roads and strong winds, especially in the Left Bank region, where gusts may reach 15-20 m/s. An I level of danger due to adverse weather has been established in Ukraine.
