Attack Details
According to monitoring channels, about 6 Tu-22M3 aircraft took off in the Murmansk region, then moved to the Smolensk region. Shortly after midnight, the planes launched missiles towards the Ukrainian capital.
Missile Characteristics
X-22 missiles have the following characteristics: starting mass of 5,635 kg, flight speed of 3.5 Mach, shooting range of 140-300 km. They are extremely dangerous due to large combat sections and low accuracy of hitting.
Previous Attacks
Previously, the Russian army had carried out similar missile strikes on various Ukrainian cities, including Dnipro, Kremenchuk, and Odesa, resulting in civilian casualties.
