On January 11, Russian troops launched another strike on Volnyansk in Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the death of a 67-year-old woman and injuries to two elderly residents.
Attack Details
According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, the occupiers shelled the city's civilian infrastructure between 08:05 and 09:10 in the morning using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Consequences of the Shelling
As a result of the enemy strike:
- A 67-year-old woman was killed
- Two women aged 70 and 71 were injured
- Residential buildings, road surface, garage, and vehicles were damaged
Scale of Aggression
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian troops carried out 498 strikes on 23 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day.
The occupiers used various types of weapons, including 273 UAVs (mainly FPV drones), seven air strikes, and five rocket artillery system attacks.
