Today, during an event in Bali, the company "Poco" presented its first premium series of flagship smartphones — "Poco F8 Ultra" and "Poco F8 Pro". These new models surprised users not only with their impressive specifications but also with a partnership with "Bose" that enables the use of sound technology.
A New Era in Sound
The "Poco F8" smartphones are equipped with stereo speakers that were developed in collaboration with "Bose". A standout feature of the Ultra version is the built-in subwoofer that delivers deep, powerful bass. "Poco" announced two special sound profiles — "Dynamic" for enhanced bass and "Balanced," which emphasizes vocals.
Impressive Technical Specifications
The "Poco F8 Ultra" features a dual-chip architecture, including the latest "Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5" processor and the "VisionBoost D8" chip. This allows for the implementation of the "AI Super Resolution" function, providing better image detail. The model is also equipped with a 6.9-inch display that has a full RGB subpixel structure.
Both devices stand out with impressive batteries: the "Poco F8 Ultra" boasts a 6500mAh battery, the largest in the "F" lineup to date, while the "F8 Pro" has a 6210mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage for users.
Price and Availability
Prices for the new models start at £749 for the "Poco F8 Ultra" and £549 for the "F8 Pro" in the UK. In the USA, the prices for these models are set at $729 and $579, respectively. "Poco" is also offering discounts of $50 for first-time buyers. Although the release date in the USA has yet to be announced, users can already pre-order both devices.
Speaking at the event, Kan Liu, senior product manager at "Poco," stated: “The "Poco F8 Ultra" sets a new standard for true flagships,” while the "F8 Pro" makes the flagship smartphone experience more accessible to a wider audience.
