The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, visited the "Supportive Lyceum" in Kagharlyk, Kyiv Oblast, where her Foundation implemented a project to restore a shelter covering an area of about 800 square meters. This initiative aims to provide safe learning for nearly 900 children who attend the educational institution.

According to information published on the Telegram channel of the President's wife, the shelter service also includes children who travel daily from surrounding villages. "It was important for us to implement such a large-scale project," noted Olena Zelenska, emphasizing the importance of creating a "space for life" in the school that meets modern requirements and standards.

Olena Zelenska's visit was accompanied by Robert Müller, the Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine, and Christoph Reiter, the head of the Building and Real Estate Authority of Lower Austria. Together, they inspected the shelter that was renovated thanks to cooperation with Austria.

Further modernization plans

The First Lady also announced that the modernization of the cafeteria at the lyceum would soon begin. This includes the renovation of the kitchen and dining hall, the installation of modern technological equipment, and the updating of furniture. After the completion of the work, the cafeteria will become supportive and will be able to provide balanced meals for about 400 children from neighboring communities.

"Even during the war, children must learn in safe, dignified, and comfortable conditions," added Olena Zelenska, highlighting the importance of the "Safe School" project, which her Foundation is working on.
