Today, December 12, Kyiv is celebrating the last warm day before the expected cold snap. Meteorologists promise that the air temperature in the capital will fluctuate between +6 and +8°C. However, the day will be marked not just by warmth but also by overcast weather with rain, which is likely to start closer to the evening.
According to information from the "Weather UNIAN" website, the weather in Kyiv will be quite windy, with gusts of wind reaching 7-12 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will also drop to 746-748 mm Hg, which may affect the well-being of some city residents.

Across Ukraine, the weather is expected to change significantly as well. Currently, in the western regions, such as Lviv, the temperature will range from +3°C to +8°C with light rain. In the southern part of the country, for example in Odesa, the temperature will rise to +11°C, but precipitation is also possible.
Meteorologist Natalia Didenko noted that over the weekend, the temperature will drop, and in some regions, particularly in the north and east, there may be rain and wet snow. Nighttime temperatures in Ukraine will range from +2 to +6°C, while daytime temperatures will be from +4 to +10°C.
Citizens are advised to prepare warm layered clothing, drink plenty of fluids, and support their immune system to withstand the sharp temperature fluctuations.
