A large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine on the night of December 13 due to the missile threat. The use of missile weaponry is expected, triggered by the takeoff of the Russian aircraft "MiG-31K," which is a carrier of air-launched ballistic missiles "Dagger."
In Kyiv, the alert was declared at 01:00. Military officials reported missile danger in the regions where the alert was issued. In particular, at 01:11, the Kyiv City Military Administration urged residents to seek shelter due to the threat of missile attacks.
Regions at Risk
According to the air alert schedule, the danger signal spread to the Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions. At this time, the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed that cruise missiles of the "Kalibr" type, launched by the Russian military from the Black Sea area, were already in the air over Ukraine.

According to the Telegram channel TSN, explosions were also recorded in the Poltava region amidst the alert. Following the announcement of the alert within the radius of Kyiv and nine other regions, emergency actions are being carried out in the at-risk areas to ensure the safety of the civilian population.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that attacks on Ukraine began in October 2022 with the aim of hitting critical infrastructure facilities, especially in the energy and defense sectors.
