On the night of December 6, 2025, Russia launched yet another massive attack using strike drones. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force, noting that enemy UAVs are moving along complex trajectories, covering the central, eastern, and northern regions of the country.
The initial movement of the group of strike UAVs is recorded in the west and south of the Sumy region. From there, they split, heading simultaneously in three key directions: Chernihiv, Poltava, and Kharkiv. This tactic is evidently aimed at dispersing the attention of air defense and conducting strikes on the infrastructure of several regions at once.
Some of the drones have set their course towards Cherkasy and Kyiv regions. Another group is moving in Poltava towards Reshetylivka, Velyka Bahachka, Bilyky, and Pavlysh. At the same time, UAVs are heading towards Chernihiv, and movements have also been recorded in the direction of the settlements of Slavutych, Ripky, Varva, and Ladanyi.
In Sumy region, the drones are directed towards Sumy and the settlement of Kyrykivka, while in Kharkiv region, they are heading towards Zolochiv and Valky. It is worth noting that over the past day, the losses of Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine have sharply increased, currently reaching 1,178,610 individuals, of which 1,240 invaders have been eliminated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
