On December 1, 2023, at around 4:00 PM, the Russian army launched an attack on a vehicle with civilians in the village of Klinova-Novoselovka in Kharkiv Oblast. As a result of the attack, two men aged 40 and 47 received shrapnel wounds.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, the strike was carried out by an enemy drones during shelling of the Zolochiv community. The victims were hospitalized for medical assistance.
The details of the incident were revealed by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov. He reported that over the past day, Russian troops shelled four settlements in the region. In particular, as a result of the attacks, a 73-year-old man, a 55-year-old man, and an 84-year-old woman were also injured in the settlements of Kovsharivka and Kupiansk-Uzlovyi.
Oleg Synegubov noted that as a result of the shelling, significant damage was done to two apartment buildings, vehicles, and businesses in the Chuhuiv district.
To date, investigative bodies have initiated a criminal proceeding under part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to war crimes.
This news once again confirms the serious threat to civilians in a region that continues to suffer from military actions.
