On November 25, while performing a combat mission, 25-year-old artist, designer, and volunteer of the aerial reconnaissance unit "Barracuda," Myroslava "Akira" Kopcha was killed. Her death is a significant loss for her colleagues and family.
Myroslava Kopcha served in the "Barracuda" unit and was noted as a talented artist who worked with various graphic techniques such as etching, monotype, and cardboard engraving. In her work, she explored themes of female corporeality, memory, and image. Her debut solo exhibition "Construction," held in 2021 in her hometown of Berezhany, showcased the depth of her creativity.

Together with Myroslava, her comrade Artur Vilchynskyi, known by the call sign "Ray," was also killed. Both served in the sky over Ukraine, defending their country. The unit's message states: "During the combat mission, our brother Ray and our sister Akira were killed. They were bright and sincere people. Worthy Ukrainians. It is a great honor for us to serve with you in the same ranks." These words reflect deep sympathy and gratitude for their service.
In addition to her service in "Barracuda," Myroslava was also involved in developing visual representations for a gun tuning production by the company "Kruk," where she worked with Artur Vilchynskyi. Both demonstrated their dedication to the cause and made a substantial contribution to the company's activities.
