The situation with electricity supply in Ukraine is currently improving. The company "Ukrenergo" has announced new power outage schedules for November 23, indicating a reduction in the duration of outages for consumers. In most regions of Ukraine, there will be from 1 to 2.5 rounds of rolling blackouts throughout the day, meaning consumers will be without electricity for no more than 8 hours.
Energy workers indicate that the current restrictions are due to the consequences of large-scale missile strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure carried out by Russian military forces. The need for restrictions continues to exist; however, their extent is decreasing compared to previous days.
Time of Outages
Power outages for residential consumers will occur from 00:00 to 23:59 on November 23, covering from 1 to 2.5 rounds simultaneously.
Schedules for Regions
"DTEK" is actively publishing hourly outage schedules for specific regions. It is noteworthy that the schedules for Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Odesa regions are already available. For example, infographics with outage schedules have already been presented in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Additionally, energy workers urge everyone to monitor information on the official pages of energy companies in the regions, as schedules may change depending on the current situation regarding energy security.
Thus, the reduction in the duration of outages is a positive signal for many Ukrainians suffering from electricity supply issues during the cold season.
