Vitalii Tsaruk was known in Rivne and beyond as an outstanding jewelry artist whose hands created genuine masterpieces and unique pieces of jewelry.
Vitalii joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces in December 2024. He was tragically killed on July 22, 2026, during combat operations in the Donetsk region. He was 36 years old.
Vitalii was born on January 6, 1990, in Rivne. He attended Secondary School No. 11 and later studied carpentry at Vocational School No. 1. After completing his education, he worked at a company producing amber jewelry and eventually founded his own jewelry workshop.
In December 2024, Tsaruk was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Those who knew Vitalii remembered him not only as a talented craftsman but also as a kind and caring person. His hands created unforgettable jewelry and brought joy to many people. His greatest talent, however, was his ability to love life and the people around him.
“For his loved ones, he was a reliable support and their whole world. He was especially proud of his son, a little boy who was only 10 years old. His father devoted his whole soul to him and taught him to be honest and strong,” said the wife of the fallen soldier.
Vitalii Tsaruk is remembered by his wife, son, parents, brother and sister.
His funeral took place on July 26 in Rivne. A farewell ceremony was held at Independence Square, followed by a memorial service and burial at the Heroes’ Alley in the Tynne Cemetery.
