Life and Service of Lieutenant Vladyslav Mysko
On January 17, 2025, Lieutenant of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Vladyslav Mysko, a graduate of Pereyaslav Professional College, died as a result of an enemy FPV drone attack in the Kupyansk direction.
Combat Path
Born on June 10, 2000, Vladyslav joined the "ORION" unit in 2023. He started as a senior sergeant and quickly proved his leadership qualities, becoming a platoon commander of the border outpost.
Professional Achievements
During his service, Vladyslav:
- Participated in the defense of Fedorivka village
- Repelled daily assaults by Russian troops
- Was awarded badges "Excellent Border Guard" and "For Courage in Protecting Ukraine's State Border"
- Received the medal "Defender of the Fatherland"
Final Battle
On January 17, 2025, during a combat mission, an enemy FPV drone attacked the group's vehicle. As a result of the shelling, Vladyslav Mysko suffered fatal injuries.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally highlighted Vladyslav's heroic actions in his daily address to the Ukrainian people.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine emphasized: "Vladyslav came to the unit with determination, resilience, and courage. He led the fighters confidently and steadfastly. He departed with honor".
