People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" party Roman Kravets officially refused the deputy mandate, as he reported in a comment to "Ukrainian Truth".
According to Kravets, he decided not to enter the Verkhovna Rada because he believes that during the war, professional people with appropriate experience should be in power. "Now I understand that my experience is insufficient to be a people's representative," he noted.
Details of Mandate Refusal
On January 19, the Central Election Commission recognized Roman Kravets as elected people's deputy instead of Dmytro Natalukha, who was appointed head of the State Property Fund. However, Kravets immediately decided to pass his place to the next candidate on the "Servant of the People" party list.
The next on the list may be Serhii Karabuta, director of LLC "Tropicana Travel".
Additional Circumstances
Earlier, journalists from "Hromadske" reported that Kravets traveled abroad at least five times during the full-scale invasion. In particular, he was in Israel due to vision problems.
According to the "Chesno" movement, Kravets was removed from military registration while abroad. There is also a suggestion that he may be an administrator of the pro-government Telegram channel "Joker".
