On the morning of January 15, Russian drones carried out another missile strike on Lviv, hitting a children's playground in the city center.
Attack Details
According to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, explosions from an enemy combat drone were heard around 6:40 in the morning.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported the details of the incident: "An enemy drone fell on a children's playground near the Stepan Bandera monument. The blast wave slightly affected a tractor driver who was clearing snow, but he is fine."
Consequences of the Shelling
As a result of the explosion, the following were damaged:
- Windows in the Polytechnic building
- Windows in adjacent residential buildings
Metropolitan Andrey and Sheptytskyi streets are temporarily closed. Public transport movement has been stopped, including trolleybus routes #27, #32, and #38.
