The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (GUR) successfully conducted a unique special operation, saving the commander of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" Denis Kapustin from an assassination ordered by Russian special services.

Details of the Special Operation

On December 27, there were reports of the alleged death of Denis Kapustin in the Zaporizhzhia front area due to an enemy FPV drone. However, in reality, this was a complex GUR special operation to rescue the commander.

According to GUR, Russian special services allocated $500,000 for Kapustin's elimination, as the Putin regime considers him a personal enemy. GUR Chief Kyrylo Budanov personally confirmed the success of the operation.

Operation Results

"Welcome back!" — Budanov stated, greeting Kapustin. The RDC commander confirmed that his temporary absence did not affect the unit's work.

Interestingly, the money allocated for the assassination will now strengthen GUR special units in the fight against Russian aggression.

Kapustin is ready to continue executing combat missions on the front line.
